In 2020, Sally, and husband, Peter, began a series of landscapes in acrylics, inspired by beauty spots close to their home, in Surrey.  Chertsey Meads was already a special place in their hearts - a place to meet up with family in a pandemic, to have a picnic, and to walk the dog.  They set out to capture, on canvas, the character and the spiritual qualities of this vast vista of grassland, which in the summer, suddenly bursts into colour, transformed into a wild flower meadow, with a myriad of flowers and grasses - leading to stunning views of the River Thames.  To do this, they've immersed themselves in the fabric of the place; the changing seasons and the cloud formations.
